February 2, 2009 DSO-MT: Auxiliary Search Coordination and Execution Training

The long awaited presentation of the Auxiliary Search Coordination and Execution course is finally available.

As you are aware the AUXSC&E course replaces the old AUXOP course called AUXSAR.

In order to accommodate everyone it is being presented over two consecutive weekends at TRACEN, Cape May in the Oceanside Club. It is scheduled for April 25-26 and May 2-3, 2009. Classes are scheduled to begin at 0830 hours each day.

Everyone may stay at the Training Center on those two weekends beginning on Friday, to allow an early start each day. Uniform of the day is Tropical Blue Long.

Anyone desiring to attend this course should email their intention. Please advise your name, emplid, flotilla and indicate if they want to stay over each weekend.

This is a four day course and prior knowledge of extensive chart work is recommended. It is also an open book type of examination with intermediate examinations to chart your progress.
