Subj:  SOLICITATION FOR COAST GUARD MUTUAL ASSISTANCE BOARD MEMBERS

1.  Please read the attached ALCOAST 008/26 that recently advertised the need to fill five positions on the Coast Guard Mutual Assistance (CGMA) Board of Directors that will become vacant by 01 July 2026. One of these positions must be filled by a Coast Guard Auxiliarist.

2.  For more than 100 years, CGMA has served as the official military aid society of the Coast Guard, providing essential financial assistance to the Coast Guard workforce in times of need. Serving on the CGMA Board offers the unique reward of knowing your efforts will make a lasting, positive impact on the lives of Coast Guard personnel. It also presents a unique opportunity to gain valuable leadership experience while contributing to the well-being of the Coast Guard community, both today and for future generations.
